Dr. Yoganand Shastri, Hon. Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Delhi
inaugurated the Centre for Emergency and Urgent CareT. Speaking on the occasion Dr.
Shastri said, "Moolchand has yet again demonstrated that it can create world class
facilities in the heart of Delhi. This new centre reflects a paradigm shift for
emergency services and is a long overdue addition to emergency services for the
capital".

He further added, "I am glad to see a Trust hospital like Moolchand providing
facilities which are superior to corporate hospitals. Moolchand will always have a
special place in the heart of the people of Delhi given its half century legacy of
affordable care and tradition of charitable giving's".

The Centre for Emergency and Urgent CareT has been designed by international experts
